Opened in December 2023 the brand new Knaresborough Leisure and Wellness Centre provides a brand new wellness experience for all.

Accessibility
- built with accessibility in mind the new facility has dedicated blue badge parking and level access throughout the facility, with a passenger lift to access the first floor
- we have both a wet and dry changing places changing room, one provides a full room lifting hoist and shower bed
- we have stepped and ladder access to the pools with a pool pod, lift platform designed for those in wheel chairs or with limited mobility

Recovery and connection
- new wellness spaces will help aid recovery, enhance social wellbeing and improve the customer experience
- relax, work or socialise in our brand-new cafe area, with a viewing area for the swimming pool and plenty of seating
- our cafe aims to compliment the new centre with the inclusion a range of healthy food, drink and snacks
Children's outdoor play area
- the new centre includes an outdoor children’s play area, where the little ones can have fun and stay active, whilst getting some fresh air
- the play area has been designed to blend in with the natural environment and the building has been designed predominantly using natural materials and neutral palettes so that it will integrate with its landscape

Location
Knaresborough Leisure and Wellness Centre is located 300m from Knaresborough town centre and is conveniently located for access by car, public transport, cycling or walking. Use our post code HG5 8EB or what 3 words directive.elects.tuxedos to help you find us.
Car parking
We have a small car park on site which is controlled by a Automatic "barrier in" and code to exit. The code can be found located around the facility so please remember to check before you leave.
If the car park is full alternative parking can be found in the pay and display at York Place car park. This car park is located opposite the leisure centre or on-street parking is available on the roads close to the facility.
Walking to us
From the town centre head southeast up the High Street and follow the route of the main A59 road.
Cycle information
We have a large number of covered cycle racks located outside the front of the facility. Please feel free to use them but you will need your own lock.
Public transport
We are well served by public transport links with the main bus station located 250 metres away in the town centre and a local route-served bus stop is located on the road outside of the facility. Please visit transdev Harrogate and District website for details on route 1A.
